Breakfast

Madir (that’s how we affectionately call our Mom) fixed traditional Filipino breakfast today – fried rice and fried dried salted fish, locally known as sinangag and tuyo respectively.

These are the kinds of food that I really miss.  I make fried rice in America but since tuyo has a pungent smell I don’t always fix it as often as I want to.

Thanks, Madir.  Let’s eat!
