Amazing Wildlife Encounters On The Trail

I couldn’t wait to post this blog!

We went out for a short walk earlier. Tashi initially wanted to walk by the lake, however we couldn’t leave our therapy pet bunny, SanjiBeau alone for an extended amount of time. He has chronic congestion and requires immediate attention so we agreed to just go to the new trail we ‘discovered’ last month since it was much closer and it was also getting late. It was a good decision and turned out to be an amazing experience! Who would have thought that said trail would provide plenty of wildlife encounters.

Below are some of the photos I took earlier.

Very fragrant honeysuckle

We saw this beautiful (and dangerous) copperhead on the way back. I cringe at the thought that we saw it on the same spot Tashi was standing just a few minutes ago. I had to warn a couple cyclists and joggers who were obviously not aware of the presence of this little beauty.

Copperhead
Bunnies! My all-time favorite.

It rained yesterday so there were lots of worms on the trail. Tashi and I carefully put them back on the grass/soil to avoid being run over by cyclists.

Nature has plenty to offer. Always. Everything is just so beautiful outside.
