Drying Fruits

I love drying fruits. I actually started drying fruits mainly for my two bunnies. But now, I do it for me and T as well. It’s a little time consuming but it does really pay off.  The four of us get to enjoy our yummy snacks, which are mostly bananas and pineapples, fresh and preservative free.  So whenever I have time, drying fruits is on top of my to-do list.  One of the healthiest ways to satisfy a sweet craving, dried fruits are both healthy and economical.

Drying usually takes 6-7 hours for bananas and pineapples and 3-5 hours for apples and strawberries.
