It’s that time of year again when all nerds flocked at the Bartle Hall for the annual Planet Comicon. Tashi and I were among the thousands of fans who gathered together for three days to attend panels, buy collectibles, watch performances and contests and take photos of and with their favorite anime and cartoon characters, superheroes and villains.
This is the first year that I went for three days. I was exhausted but I had so much fun! It was a great three days of amusement and excitement. My feet had blisters from all the walking and chasing of cosplayers to ask if they can strike a pose for me, but I didn’t care. Below are some of the photos I took during the three-day event.

I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic-book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people’s lives. Without it they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you’re able to entertain people, you’re doing a good thing.
