Bolko and Chona’s Wedding

My friends Chona and Bolko tied the knot last Saturday.  It was an intimate, lovely, fun and multicultural wedding. One of the groom’s relatives very aptly called it “Polish-American-Philippine Wedding”.

Chona and I have been friends since 2007.  She was my lunch buddy at work.  Sometimes, we’d share food or bring lunch for each other.  She introduced me and Tashi to Bolko in 2011 and after three years, we witnessed their union in marriage.

1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails … (NIV)
