Flights booked and we get to stay at the Marriot for free for three nights and four days, yay! Thanks to our credit card rewards plans!
Got the call this morning from the Philippine Consulate General regarding my oath-taking schedule. I’m all set on time and date. Tashi and I are both excited as this is our first time to go to Chicago and get to attend the Comic Con too!
A lot of my Pinay friends have been to Chicago to renew their Philippine passport and all of them are in agreement that Chicago is a beautiful place. I’m looking forward to visiting parks, aquariums and museums. I am also interested in the Skydeck experience. Hopefully our schedule will allow us to visit these places as I heard from Corey, Tashi’s friend who lives in Chicago, that sometimes getting around Chicago can be time-consuming due to the heavy traffic (sounds like Manila, Philippines :D).
We need to make plans now on who’s going to take care of Poopy and Nin Nin.
